MUSIC
From the age of 6, I have been singing on stage and performing for crowds of thousands. I got my first drum-set when I was 14, and the day I gave my life to the Lord, I was at a concert… Needless to say, music has been a huge part of my life and the main way I have served the Lord with my creativity. My first job at a church was as a Youth Leader/Drummer and I can tell you that the best part wasn’t the $40 per week I made. The best part was that I got to inspire other students the way I was inspired when I started in worship. Inspired to bring my best to the Lord and co-create with friends to build a sound full of joy and hope. I began to look for more ways to expand my ability to be an integral part of my church’s worship team, and now I am glad to say that I picked up a few things along the way.
I have a working knowledge of guitar, percussion/drums, piano/keys, and digital audio production. I mainly lead worship through vocals and acoustic or electric guitar, but I’m happy to serve however I’m needed. I am skilled in building and utilizing Multitracks for live service production. ABLETON is the best tool out there - end of story! I enjoy developing musical and vocal arrangements, and I am comfortable with many styles of music, from orchestral to gospel to contemporary worship. I like the challenge of being diverse. All that to say…music is my first love.

EXPERIENCE
I have had the honor of serving in Worship and Creative leadership positions within the church for the past 15 years. As God has provided the opportunity for me to step into executive leadership positions, I have had the opportunity demonstrate my experience in the areas of worship, creative direction, strategic planning, organizational development, discipleship pathways, teaching, staff oversight, and the development of team culture. It is my passion to use the gifts God has given me to strengthen, exhort, and expand the local church by equipping His people to fulfill the Great Commission. Whether multi-generational, multi-cultural, or multi-site, I find that the challenge of building an experience through worship with creativity is an amazing position to serve from. However, my call is to love God, love people, and help others connect with Jesus. In particular, I find that I have a gifting in training, developing, and leading musicians and creatives to build a deeper connection with Jesus and become a driving force within the church. Music, technology, and creativity are simply the vehicles I use to break down barriers to help with that connection. In all I do, I pray that every part of my ministry is used to help others find purpose, faith, and healing.
